How did we get here already? Three years have passed since we were abundantly blessed with our baby boy. All 7lbs 4oz, 19 1/4 inches of the sweetest goodness you could ever imagine. He's hovering around 32lbs these days and over 3 ft tall. I say it every year, but I'll never forget (and I'm so very very thankful for this memory) the second he was born, the tears streaming down my face and those in his Daddy's eyes. Oh, Will, you are the most amazing little boy.
Things you love at THREE:
Buzz Lightyear
Lightning McQueen
miniature figurines
cars, cars, cars
playing outside
reading
your trains and train track
puzzles (you L.O.V.E. puzzles)
your friends
your family - you just LOVE your family
doing anything that daddy does
kicking a soccer ball like uncle weswey does
RUNNING
CHASING
play doh
I'm nervous typing this because I don't want to jinx your success, but dare I say you're completely potty trained?! The whole #2 business was T.O.U.G.H., but it feels like we have finally cleared that hurdle. You could tee tee in the potty at 17 months old and you've been doing that consistently since about March. Can I get a BIG WOO HOO!!!!
You love being social. You're always one to strike up a conversation with anyone and everyone (the manager at Publix knows your name... and calls Mommy, "Will's mom" :)). We are so thankful you have such a social personality. Just like your daddy, I tell ya!
You say some pretty funny things. If it's too hot (to say I hate August in SC would be a huge understatement) or if it looks like it might rain and you want to go outside, mommy will say, "we can't buddy because it might rain/it's too hot" and you follow with "no, mommy it's a great day for a picnic!" ** I have to add this because it was so cute (thanks, Kelly, for reminding me!): as our friends Kelly and Michael are walking up our front porch, Will runs out to greet them and says, "Hi! Meet my friend, Mommy!" Basically, he was introducing me as his friend. :)
Thank you, Will, for three of the best years of mommy and daddy's lives! We love you to the moon and back!
