In no particular order, here is a brief synopsis of our life since the last entry:

We have been ridiculously busy around here (hence the lack in blogging)!  Clinical has taken over my life and my sweet, patient, loving husband has willingly accepted his role as "single father of two" for the next year and a half.  School consumes my time, but you can do anything in a year and a half, right?! Right.

Stephen's been keeping the kids busy with swimming and playing, eating and sleeping.  Will LOVES the water this year and Riley loves a good round of splashing.

My little/bigger brother graduated from high school on 6/2... I really am having a hard time accepting that he's old enough to be going to college, but I am so proud of him!!!  The guy finished in like the top 5% of his class!  Just like any proud sibling (although, I have to admit, sometimes I'm more of a second mother to him... a result of the 10 year age difference and my fierce feeling of protection over my little brother and all the praying I [all of us] did for 10 years waiting for God to bless our family with another baby) I just want to brag about him constantly.

To Riley:  Sweet baby girl, I don't know how six months have gone by so quickly!  *You have the sweetest disposition and you're happy to just go with the flow.*  You continue to love, love, LOVE your big brother - I mean, you seriously love him.  And I seriously love that!  (he seriously loves you too :)) * If he'd let you, you'd have your hands all over Dupree - you squeal in delight when he comes close to you. * You have been sitting up all by yourself for almost 2 weeks now.  You'll topple over if you look up too high (i.e. at the ceiling fan), but other than that, you're a strong sitter. * You giggle, you're ticklish, you have a FIERCE stranger anxiety, you play, you babble, you LOVE to play in water, you're just beautiful.  And I have to say it (b/c Daddy was your brother's favorite for MONTHS), mommy is your favorite (and I'm relishing in this :)). * You enjoy sleeping on your tummy now (just like big brother did)... we always put you to bed on your back, but you just flip right over. * You LOVE your bunny.  We're talkin' head over heals kinda love. * You also love good ol' Sophie. * You smile for the camera - such a ham! * We love you!*

Yay for an update! Such cute kids. I cannot believe Riley is already six months. She better get over her stranger anxiety before we're home for the holidays because I can't wait to get my hands on that little sweetie (and sadly as far as she's concerned I fall into the stranger category)! It will be fun to see how our little ones interact...I can't wait! Did Wes really graduate? How did our little siblings get to be so big?!? I can't believe Nicole starts her Junior year in the fall...where did the time go. PS: You are not an old lady. You look fabulous momma! It was great talking to you yesterday.
