I can't tell you how much easier the transition is from one to two than it was from zero to one! I have been so pleasantly surprised! And Will continues to be a doting big brother and I continue to be SO PROUD of him! He's the best big brother! He loves to help and give her kisses on her "wittle feet" :). I just love seeing them together! Riley follows him with her eyes wherever he goes - it's so sweet.
Sleep has been MUCH better than with Will (probably b/c he was hungry all the time... and she isn't!). We've had a VERY trying week this week though... Riley wanted to party at night and Will has been sick with a virus (fever and cough) for 5 days now and hasn't slept since Wednesday... we're running on fumes and our fuses are quite short, but we'll pull through! Thank goodness there is a parent for each child - I think if we had a 3rd in the mix right now, we would have to bring in back up!
Anyway, here are some pictures for you to compare!
Riley at one month! It'll never get old putting bows in her hair!
And this, my friends, is the closest picture I could find to a "head shot" of Will at one month... just call me mother of the year!
Riley when she was born with all of her precious hair!
(so thankful my babies have their daddy's lips!... OH! and did I mention Riley has one precious GIGANTIC dimple in her right cheek? I love it!)
Will when he was born with his peach fuzz :)

She definitely favors her big brother, so sweet! Glad to hear things are going so well!!
So precious Kath! Thanks for the update! I hope Will gets to feeling better very soon, so mom and dad can get some sleep :) I hear you on not being outnumbered...we keep telling ourselves we can handle things since we'll still be evenly matched! ~Shanna :)
I love this!!! So neat to see the comparisons...such beautiful children. :) Can't believe baby girl is already 1 month old...good to know that she fits right in with the rest of us when it comes to her eating styles! Hope things are settling down with Will's sickness and that y'all are getting some rest. Love you!!
They look SO similar (except for the hair of course) I am so sorry to hear little Will has been sick... I am praying for some sleep around your house. They are both just beautiful! You are so blessed...
Stay warm!
oh my goodness she is too precious for words!!!
Don't good eaters make life so much easier?!? I have a feeling that her full belly will make her a much better sleeper, too! Which is a great bonus! :)
Since I first saw Riley I thought those two looked alike - both GORGEOUS!
AND, it's good to hear that the transition from 1 to 2 is easier than from 0 to 1! Nicholas is seriously begging me to start "trying"...so 6 months from now when he actually gets his way I'll keep this in mind, HA! :) Oh, and thanks for making the trek to Charleston for the party - it meant so much! Love you guys - hope Will is feeling better!!!
