(not so) Silent night(s) ... but oh so cute announcements!!!

I imagine we won't be having many silent nights in the near future as a newborn is bound to grace us with her presence any day now. I have been debating on how to do the announcement AND annual Christmas card all in one. I just love getting cards from friends and family - especially cards with photos. I keep them for SEVERAL months (you know, until the corners start curling up and they've been [accidentally] knocked on the floor 100 times by someone's dog tail).

Originally, I thought we would forgo the Christmas card and just send an announcement, but I just couldn't bring my Christmas-loving self to do such a thing. So, I have been googling and googling and all I can say is TGFS (Thank Goodness For Shutterfly), they had EXACTLY what I was looking for and it was so easy to find. I wanted a cute holiday birth announcement with places for at least 2 pictures (one of just baby and one of baby and Will).

Well, I'm not going to spoil the surprise on here, but I'll show you some runner ups:

I CANNOT WAIT to order our announcements once she makes her debut (so if you get your card the 23rd, you understand :))!

Shutterfly has so many to choose from! My favorites are the stationary Christmas cards, they look like they cost an arm and a leg, but they're so affordable! And IF we were having a holiday party, I would choose one of these fabulous cards!

Next year (for gifts) we're planning on doing a precious photo calendar of our babies (well, toddler and baby). What a perfect idea for family members!
