Sleeping (or not) update

Thanks for all the feedback everyone! I totally agree with (I think all of you suggested it!) letting him cry it out and we did that when he was in a crib. Unfortunately the big boy bed poses an interesting predicament (I so wish he would have stayed in his crib until he was 3... he climbed out a week before his 2nd birthday). If he's mad, he just gets out (and we've tried ALL discipline "techniques") and THAT'S when it gets hairy. We've found him asleep on the floor by the door if you get my drift :). We basically have to sit in there until he falls asleep or he'll get up and open his door and talk to us or whine. Feels like we're taking major steps back. We'll push through it though and eventually I know he won't wake up before noon (oh, in about 12 years :)).
