I'm writing this now at 10:30 p.m. on the 7th. The exact time we were headed to the hospital to meet this precious baby:

Happy Birthday Sweet Boy!
You'll be one tomorrow! You are the most amazing little boy - Daddy and I are so blessed to have you as our son! We love you so much! God absolutely knew what he was doing bringing you into our lives :).
You continue to amaze us everyday! You love to say "Da Dee!" It's so sweet - Daddy loves it! We're still trying to figure out what "Buh tee" is... you say it a lot! One of your favorite things to do is watch Dupree eat bubbles - you laugh and laugh! You still love electronics - phones, cameras, and remote controls. When you hear a dog bark and sometimes when we ask you, "what does a doggy say?," you'll make your little barking noise loud and clear "Uh!" or "Oooh!" Mommy says "oh dear" and sometimes you'll say "oh dee" if you drop something or if something is not doing what you want it to do. It takes an army to change your diaper! You can't possibly enjoy having a dirty diaper, but that's questionable seeing as you do everything in your power to crawl/wiggle/turn/ away. You absolutely live for walks! If you want to go on a walk, you'll make your way to your stroller or your wagon, get our attention and hold your hand out for one of us to get you and put you in. If you like something that you're eating you say "nummy!" Now that you have teeth on the bottom and top, you grind them together... it's like nails on a chalkboard! You are very curious and very busy - 2 things we love about you! You are brave enough to stand by yourself without holding on to anything, but you haven't taken your first step yet - it'll be soon!
We can't wait for the days and years to come! We love you sweet boy!

Will, Daddy Loves You! Happy First Birthday!
Awwww....that was so sweet. It brought tears to my eyes. How neat that years from now Will will be able to read that and be reminded how blessed he was to have such amazing, loving parents! We're thinking of y'all and your precious little one today. We hope he has a wonderful first birthday...has it really been that long. Can't wait to see him in November! ~Shanna :)
Aww happy birthday sweet Will baby. Can you believe it has been a whole year? Congrats to you too Kathy. One year as a mommy deserves a HUGE pat on the back.
